About the Event

A 1920's themed evening with best dressed competitions, Jazz and Swing band and fireworks. Dusk & Duchy who organised Drive-In entertainment at the Toat Cafe throughout lockdown, bring you the PoshFlix Cinema! We will provide a bougie, open-air cinema experience with a live music stage hosting local artists. The Gun Pub will be serving up Pimm's, GnTs, wine and local Hepworth craft beers.

Our ethos is to support and enjoy local, so we are so excited to have teamed up with Margherita's who will serve their full menu of wood fired pizzas under the canopy of our stretch tent. Please note you cannot bring your own picnic or alcohol because our licence does not allow for it, thank you. We take both cash and card payments. There is plenty of parking space and room for campers, plus we are dog friendly! So leave the catering to us, and bring your picnic blankets, tents and deckchairs to settle in for an evening of outdoor entertainment. Doors open from 7pm with live music to start at 8pm followed by a sunset screening of The Great Gatsby. Come and join us to celebrate getting back to live in-person events!

Synopsis:

Midwest native Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire) arrives in 1922 New York in search of the American dream. Nick, a would-be writer, moves in next-door to millionaire Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio) and across the bay from his cousin Daisy (Carey Mulligan) and her philandering husband, Tom (Joel Edgerton). Thus, Nick becomes drawn into the captivating world of the wealthy and -- as he bears witness to their illusions and deceits -- pens a tale of impossible love, dreams, and tragedy.
